Ongoing Projects
Girls of Yellow Diamonds (GOYD) is a musical experience that tells the narratives of Asian American women through music by Asian American women composers themselves. The purposes of this program are to promote a more equitable representation in the classical music industry and raise awareness of specific social issues surrounding Asian American women. GOYD is structured to provide a snapshot of the beautifully diverse lives of Asian American women while proving how these stories are ultimately relatable to all women.
Join Wear Yellow Proudly’s Julius Sanchez as he invites Asian American guests to share their experiences, challenges, and perspectives. Through candid conversations and meaningful dialogue, we explore the nuances of race, culture, and society, and offer a safe space for listeners to learn and grow. Tune in to Through Our Lens and see the world through a different perspective.
